the Midtown Assistance Center, a non-profit organization nestled in the heart of Midtown, is a testament to the power of community. they provide vital assistance to individuals navigating temporary financial crises, offering a wide array of services from rent and utilities to food and clothing. the organization's journey, which began in 1986 with the support of Midtown Alliance and five Midtown congregations, has now grown to include eleven congregations, various businesses, foundations, government entities, and volunteers. it's a collective effort that we can all be proud of.
